If you're not on the internet, you're nowhere these days. Whether or not you're a brick-and-mortar business, there are always reasons to have a business website. This is particularly true if you do online sales. Having a quality website can go a long way in adding new business, but a bad website will often to the opposite.

Recover Saved Passwords On Your Browser
Ever been to a situation where you totally forgot your password? After a while, you remembered that it is saved on your browser. You opened it and it's there. Yep, it's there -- hidden as bullets (•) or asterisks (*). Still, you want to know what it is; what it's been and what it still is. The problem: you cannot copy and paste. You just can't. Deal with it. Well, don't lose hope as Loading-Info gathered some ways to gain your password back.

uCertify PrepKit for EC-Council's Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH)
uCertify is a preparation kit software provider for IT certification exams. As we all know, IT is a vast world where fields could stretch out to different sub-fields and may fall to a thousand categories (and sub-categories). On the other hand, getting certifications for your skills has turned from fancying your resume to being a requirement by most employers. This is probably also related to the numerous IT degree programs and certifications easily accessible online.
That is why it is indeed an integral part to have a trusted resource of information to be prepared with before taking the exams. I was asked by uCertify to test one of their PrepKits, and I chose their prep kit for EC-Council's Certified Ethical Hacker certification exam: E312-50.

FileDen: Marked by Google as a Malware-Distributing Site
Yesterday, while checking my blog, a malware warning appeared on my browser. It says that the site I'm visiting contains contents from FileDen, a site that is known to distribute malware. I was shocked, then I posted it to Twitter. Someone responded that they are getting the malware warning, too. However, the only files I uploaded on FileDen are photos on my old blog posts. So, I assure you that L-I is 100% safe to browse. Read more to see the details.

How Philippine Officials Should Act Against Cybercrime
Last night, I read a tweet from GMANews that there is a proposal to the Senate that laptops should be registered by the users in order to prevent cybercrimes. The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) wants every laptop, SIM cards, and other devices used to connect to the Internet to be regulated. I'll go direct to the point: (Excuse me in advance.) This is plainly stupid. I doubt NBI has look upon this issue very well. If they think they had, well they really haven't.

Should Facebook Ban All Sites Under the .Co.Cc Domain?

This post has been marked OUTDATED by the author.
If you are aware of free domain registration services like Dot.tk, you might also have heard of the Co.cc domain. From Co.cc's website, it is a Free Domain Name Registration + Free DNS Service. However, registering a Co.cc website only provides you a subdomain registration. Because originally, .Cc is a country code top-level domain for Cocos Islands in Australia. And Co.cc is a domain registered under the .Cc domain, which makes another domain under the Co.cc a subdomain. So in reality, you are only registering a subdomain unlike that of Dot.tk's.

Last year, Facebook won't let you post any links under the .Co.cc domain.

Emptying your Recycle Bin Won't Erase your Data
Haven't you got curious why emptying the recycle bin, however large your files are, just took one second to get done?
It has been a great misinformation to Windows users that emptying your recycle bin will permanently remove the files from your computer. Some of us may be aware of this but most users (especially non-techie folks) don't have any idea that emptying a recycle bin won't really remove the deleted files from your hard disk.

CAPTCHAs: Do we really have to suffer?
![]() |
| Photo from CAPTCHArt.com |
Recently, my sister tried to log in to her Yahoo! mail account. But she was not successful. She tried entering another password, again, a wrong one. She tried another, and another one...
Then suddenly, it seemed like the system was notified of her continuous attempts of logging in. Here comes the CAPTCHAs.
