"Computers are hardware. Apps are software. Humans are wetware." The term 'hacker' is familiar to most of us this age where almost all of us are dependent on computing devices for information. On the other hand, 'biohacker' is uncommon. Biohacking is where a hacker experiments and modifies the human body by implanting or connecting devices to specific human body parts to enhance human experience by adding additional senses and/or functions.

Kindle For Aussies, anyone?
Being a non-US resident is really one hell of a headache when purchasing electronics that are exclusively manufactured and sold on the United States. The tendency of some is to purchase from someone from their country who order by bulk or wholesale, to be then sold in retails. But you should beware, always.

NoteSlate: The Monochrome Paper-Alike Tablet Device
Last week while bloghopping, I saw this post on Trizzone.tk. It shows a sleek tablet that looks almost like a paper at first glance. Well, not because of the texture, but how the scribbles are made on the tablet. It looks so real! According to their website, "NoteSlate is low technology tablet device with true one color display, real paper look design and long life battery."

The Haptic Reader: Convert Words To Braille!
Introducing the Haptic Reader! It is designed to help blind people read real books. It uses haptics, a technology that plays with the human sense of touch by sending feedbacks to users. The Haptic Reader scans the page of the book and converts it to Braille. The electric signals create the projection of Braille characters on the flat surface. It also has speakers to help those who cannot read Braille. It can be used as a bookmark, too!
